Abstract

The continuation of the cultural life of the society that emerged from the Islamic Revolution depends on the preservation of the semantic system that supports this revolution. One of the great dangers that lurks in the wake of any key semantic order is the danger of distortion. Among the sources that explain the teachings of the Islamic Revolution, the thought and character of Imam Khomeini (RA) are more at risk of distortion than any other source. For this reason, the present study seeks to present a cultural-communicational framework to confront the distortion of the thought and character of Imam Khomeini (RA). This study, which was conducted using the content analysis method, has formed a general framework for confronting the cultural and communicational distortion of the Imam in two dimensions: "verbal distortion" and "spiritual distortion" through interviews with seventeen experts in the field of Imam's thought. The strategies presented for confronting the spiritual distortion of the Imam are organized into seven areas: "media improvement", "cultural improvement", "social improvement", "organizational improvement", "political improvement" and "elite improvement".
